Tropical Fruit Stamps

20080623stamps2.jpg

The U.S. Postal Service is now selling luscious 27-cent tropical fruit stamps, available in Kiwi, Guava, Papaya, Pomagranate, and Star Fruit. Unfortunately they're self-adhesive, so there's no hope that they taste as delectable as they look. [via The Kitchn]

That mango looks suspiciously like a papaya.

Too bad they're not scratch 'n sniff. :(

Definitely a papaya, mangoes only have the one big center seed.

@GregWA: Yuuup, that's a papapya. Thanks for the correction!

Why are they selling 27 cent stamps when it costs 42 cents to mail something......?
