this confused me.

Gwyneth Paltrow eats?

Yeah, I saw this at Bittman's site. Man, some folks have tough jobs, eh?

I don't expect to see much substance, but I certainly expect to generate a lot of envy.

Must be a lot more fun for Batali than standing on a sound stage at Food Network explaining how to do a ribollita.

gwyneth paltrow is paint dry boring in any interview I've seen. Bittman looks like he lost wait. His last show was an ego trip, I wonder if Batali can keep him in line.

I'm sorry people, but I am THOROUGHLY excited to watch this show. Gwenny might not be my favorite actress in the world, but if she can hold her own against Mario Batali on a culinary road trip (i.e. eating and drinking along side him for 18 hours straight is no easy task), then I'm all for watching her.

That looks like a fun trip. I'm not sure I'd want to watch and be jealous the whole time though.

Too much talking, not enough eating.

whatever that was, it didn't leave me panting for more.

Hmmm...two hot chicks and two middle aged, not so hot dudes, in a Mercedes convertible touring Spain...I guess it's true, chefs are the new rock stars.
