Photo of the Day: Union Square Farmer's Market Salad

potd-farmersmarketsalad.jpg

Here's a beautiful grape shallot, and microgreens salad made by Jacquie to offset the duck fat fries and the spit-roasted guinea pig and the egg yolk-laden hamburger and...well, I could probably keep going. Basically, here's your phytonutrient dosage for the day; I thought you could use it.

i seriously want to make this! halved-grapes? that sounds delicious, especially with the combination of sprouts. i'm a texture eater, so this spells nom.

Well then WE SHALL MAKE THIS SALAD.

I do love dem microgreens. I've gotten stuff from that stand in Union Square before. Mm, so good.

Wow, I'm completely shocked that one of my pics made photo of the day! Thanks Robyn!

I'm all over those duck fat fries though. I'm thinking of going to The Harrison and sitting at the bar and just getting a side of fries and a pint.

Then going home and eating another salad of course...
