Photo of the Day: Milk Juice

It can be hard to find a good source of milk juice these days, but head over to Bridge Apothecary in Brooklyn and you can get all the milk juice you could ever want! I mean, just look at how authoritative that sign is. To me it doesn't just say, "WE NOW SELL MILK JUICE"—it screams, "YOU WANT TO BUY OUR MILK JUICE!"

Did you buy the milk juice? What's it like??

I wonder if it's like the time my mom accidently topped my OJ with milk...

After careful thought, I'm wondering if they sell "milk" and "juice",

@ag3208: ...And thus the mystique of the milk juice is CRUSHED!

Just kidding. ;) That makes a lot of sense. So much that it kind of depresses me.

I'm pretty sure milk juice could be just a blend of milk and fruit. I've had it in Taiwan before. I distinctly remember having watermelon mixed with milk and it was good. There might have been some ice tossed in. There were some other flavors but I don't remember any specifically.

It's kind of like a very water fruit flavored milkshake.

LOL

I can hear the guy at the ballpark now...

"Milk-Juice... Get your fresh Milk-Juice right here!".

Ahahaha!!

Papaya-milk and watermelon-milk are popular in the tropics and incredibly refreshing =) I've been making up for the lack of cheap watermelons and papayas here by substituting white grape juice + soymilk (tastes like one of those yogurt fruit drinks like Yakult or Viva).

Oh! Disgusto.

At the gym the other day, I noticed they sell something called "Muscle Milk." When I expressed dismay, the guy at the counter said, "It's really good! You should try the Mocha Muscle Milk!"

Compared to that, milkjuice sounds quite appetizing.

when i was a kid me n my brother used to drink kool-aid milk !!!!....1/2 kool-aid n 1/2 milk !!!.....i know everyone on here's gonna think....oh crap....that sounds gross....but to a 10 an 12 year old it was good....lol

I still can't figure out whether Robyn really knew it was two words, or not.

Even after her comment in the thread.

LOL

That's good journalism though. Leave'em guessing...wanting more! :)

OK, she knew.

Too many caps used in the original post for her to have not known.

She knew.

Whatever... hahahahaha... I'm pretty sure she knew.

Sounds like a greasy spoon in the town we used to live in. They proudly advertised "Goulash Tea --3.99" on their sign every day.
