Misleading 'New York Times' Headline of the Week

"Bacon Painting Auctioned for Record $86 Million" - The painting does not, in fact, have any bacon.

I totally felt the same way when I clicked through to the article only to find it was about FRANCIS Bacon. Gosh darn it.

LOL...but if you knew that before you read the article you wouldn't have read the article!!

Oh man, I thought the same thing. The best part was, I wasn't really surprised. "$86 million? Seems about right."

So it wasn't just me then...

Thank you! I totally thought it was "bacon" bacon, too.

When I first saw the headline, I thought to myself: I'm totally in the wrong business; I should be painting bacon for a living.
