Is it Safe to Eat Pork Brains?
Slate lets us know it's safe to eat pork brains, but inhaling them would be a bad idea.

I've had them spread on toast in (the Republic of) Georgia. I hate to say this, but they honestly tasted a lot like pureed chicken. Our host brought the piglet to the table and cracked its head open with his hands, and we ate it on traditional Georgian flatbread.

Growing up, we ate them with scrambled eggs. I remember that they would turn the egggs a horrible brown color but they were really very good.

@Christina - this may be a dumb question...was the piglet alive? Dead? Cooked? I'm not sure I really want to know, but the uncertainty is bothering me. =)
