Nice to see David Rosengarten, sad that Food Network has all his Taste episodes locked up.

OFF TOPIC- Does anyone remember in the first years of FN a show hosted by Jane Curtin? It was a retrospect of the very first cooking shows on television. Each show featured a cooking program from about 1950. I can't remember the name of it..Cl;assic something or other.

Sadly, the demise of FN began with its audience, apparently. The inception of the gastronomic proclivities of the likes of Ray,Lee,Deen and gang started when watchers began writing in for more "user friendly" programming. Translation: Dummy it down.....they did, and it worked.
