Bowl with Built-In Spoon Rest

20080412-spoonyg.jpg

One of life's minor annoyances is when your spoon falls into your bowl of cereal. You either have to dig in there with your fingers or you have to dirty another utensil to fish it out. It's a crap way to start the day. This bowl here might change all that, with its built-in spoon caddy. $21 at Uncommon Goods [via Neatorama]

briliant =) no more rubber bands wound on handles

really? it looks like the sides of that bowl are steep enough to prevent a spoon from sliding to the bottom... making those extra little indentations unnecessary. And expensive. $21???

mh330: I agree with you on this one: I think it is a bit steep and not wide enough for a spoon to fall down. I guess $21 might be worth it as a gift for someone you know who is REALLY into cereal. Or soup. Pretty much when I link to stuff like this, that's what I have in mind -- "Might be a nice gift for someone..." Me? I make do with my regular old bowls, which are shaped so that a spoon really cannot fall down into the liquid.
