Sporks Are So Retro: Knorks Are Cutting-Edge
We've seen the spork (spoon-fork) and splayd (spoon-blade), but behold the glory of the Knork (knife-fork). As the Washington Post revealed today, inventor Mike Miller was just sick and tired of sawing his hot slice of pizza with a pedestrian fork. To date, he's already sold about one million Knorks ($6 each).

The guy who makes these contacted us a few years back about building him a website. We didn't end up taking the job, but we did buy a set of knorks, and they're our favorite utensils to use.
The edge isn't really sharp -- it's mostly the weight of the fork plus the flat edge that gives you good leverage that makes it cut better than a regular fork. I wouldn't use it on a steak, but for a lot of meals it does eliminate the need for a knife.
