Home Shopping Network Pulls Robert Irvine's Cookware

irvineTitanium.jpgThe Home Shopping Network has stopped selling Robert Irvine's "Royal Titanium" line of cookware. Searches for his cookware now yields zero results, but the Google cache has all of it archived. Too bad, because the "Chef Robert Irvine Royal Titanium Nonstick Possible Pan" will surely become a collectible item.

According to Nancy Bushkin, vice president of public relations and communications for Home Shopping Network, "At HSN we were stunned by the revelations. The trusting relationship we have with our customers is fundamental. With that in mind, we have pulled all existing inventory from Mr. Irvine while we review the situation." [via St. Petersburg Times]

At least the Value Spice Pack of four Chef Irvine Spice Blends is still available on chefrobertirvine.com. You too can "add that special flair to anything you create in the kitchen."

The true story of Robert Irvine is possibly the best dramedy to never be televised this week.

@Heartnibbler:

I'm confused. WHAT IS the true story of Robert Irvine? I feel totally clueless even after reading everything.

WHAT true story???? Wait while I Google him.......

if the food is good do we really care what he put on his resume. I have the possible pan it is my absolute favorite.The only pan that I use now. I was really looking forward to getting the rest of the line and now it looks like that may not happen what the h e double hockey sticks does his resume have to do his great line of cookware. As a nation we are lied to and duped everyday about more serious stuff than this especially here in America. Lying Cheating and Stealing is the american way and is how this country was built as well as what it was built on and now we want to be all high and mighty about a resume. Please!!!!

Yes, let's pull the cookware that is made in America and keep selling all that crap made in China....way to go Home Shopping Network!!!!
