Kudos to China for banning those pesky plastic bags. Now if the USA had any sense they would do the same thing. Biodegradabilty aside, I'm tired of watching them getting caught in power lines, chain-link fences and generally just blowin' in the wind. They are ugly and should be done away with!!!

They didn't ban them outright. Just required stores to start charging for them.
