Behold the Micro-Microwave

qb-micromicrowave.jpgThe portable Iwavecube Personal Microwave is almost like a normal microwave, but more expensive and only fractionally useful! For just $130 you too can have the power to heat up a mug of coffee, a cup of noodles, or anything else you can manage to squeeze into the microwave's miniature cavity without having to find a real full-sized microwave. It's amazing to me that with our current global situation of dwindling energy resources and rising amounts of toxic waste generated by products such as these, people are still investing money into design and production of crap like this, and people are still wasting their hard earned money on crap like this. It's so sad.

amen seyo...amen.

Is this really more wasteful than any other new microwave? What if that's actually all you need?

"need"

We dont NEED any microwaves.

For its very limited uses, I'm missing the reason it costs as much as a full-size. Perhaps it's for the convenience of being able to have your very own private microwave at your desk? Still, the price is too high to make it practical.

With a micro-microwave on top of my desk and mini fridge below it, all I'd need would be the Stadium Pal and I could work all day without leaving my seat.

Adam...you are priceless:)

Thanks, JEP! ;)

And would you also wear The Beer Belly, Adam?!? ;-)

(could someone PLEASE explain how to make one of those pretty blue links?)

Oh man... I always wanted to hook up a Tab trailer to a VW beetle and just go live in campsites, using wifi at coffee shops to login for telecommuting. I'd pictured using a little toaster oven, but this microwave would be perfect for a teensy living space like that.

i've never owned a microwave... they are so huge and take up valuable counter space for things like a cutting board or a mixer. but i would find something like this useful for that once in a blue moon i'm kicking myself for not taking something out of the fridge, like butter... but the price tag for this thing is nuts.
