Chocolate Chip Cookies

Of course you're going to want to leave some cookies for Santa tonight. If you don't already have a recipe in mind, here are some of our favorites from the Serious Eats Recipes archives.

Ok Adam, what camera are you using for SE photos?
Those are great looking choc chips. I invite the SE community to post their cookies on the Serious Eats Flickr group. Come on people I know you are baking some great stuff. If you are making cakes or pies let's see those as well. Share the wealth!!!

Come join us one and all.

I can vouch for both the World Peace cookies & the Mocha Choc Chip. Santa would leave not even a crumb on the plate!

Yum! I love a good cookie, and they seem to be bountiful this time of year! I even posted a basic cookie dough recipe over at my site the other day. Take it an customize it to your heart's delight. Happy Holidays, everyone!

I made the best, big fat, chewy chocolate chip cookie that Robyn spoke about, and it is indeed the best one I ever made( better than Tates). The amount of chips, however is 2 cups, not 1, according to the allrecipes recipe. Happy cookie baking to all!!!!!

@Jerzee Tomato: I don't take all the photos in SE, but that cookie photo was taken with a Canon 20D under non-optimal lighting in my kitchen. ;) It's a great camera, although kinda heavy. The weight makes me miss my lighter Rebel XT...

@Mich23: I'm glad you liked the cookies! I cut the chocolate in half because I don't like chocolate chip cookies with too much chocolate. -__- I mean, I don't like it when the cookie part is overwhelmed. I've made it with one cup of chocolate many times and it's just right for my tastes, but surely 2 cups is great if you want lots of chocolate. :)

Yeah, sorry. I should have put the "photo by Roboppy" credit on there. Robyn takes most of the awesome photos you see on SE.
