So I have voted for you guys, but I did want to make one comment. This 'blog' suffers from the same problem that most group blogs do, ie, lack of responsiveness. It is in fact the reason why I stopped subscribing to slashfood, well, that mixed with the inaccuracy of some of their reporting, the combination achieving a clear impression of lack of accountability. One of the things I appreciate about the individual blogs I visit is the responses I get to my comments, either in the comment section itself or by email. In my experience, that clearly separates blogs from the so called group blogs. I suggest you get your contributors to glance back at the pieces they write and interact with the people they have moved to comment. Oh, and let us know the competition winners perhaps?

Point taken, sarahdlr. Good advice that has been read, noted, and taken to heart.

Hahaha - and in one fell swoop you prove me wrong ;) I should have noted that I do really enjoy the reporting on here, far more than any of your competitors. I was just missing that personal touch.

Thanks, sarahdlr. I thought your comment was balanced and made a fair point, and I appreciate the honesty. It's what keeps us on our toes.
