This is my kind of club. In fact, someone gave me a membership in this club a few years ago for my birthday, and I can tell you it provided me with a year's worth of absolute eating pleasure.

Thin bacon = extra crispy, thick bacon = crisp yet still chewy

Thick cut applewood smoked bacon done just barely crispy.

Half pliant, half crispy. Radially cooked (inside crispy, outer edges porky).

Pliant. Wiggly, really.

Thick cut, slowly cooked over low heat in a cast iron skillet, crisp enough that it almost forms a catenary arch when held from one end, served with biscuits with just a touch of butter or even a slight residue of bacon grease on them.

My brother-in-law uses a bacon press that does the job nicely. We cook on our George Foreman grill on the porch, so our house doesn't smell like bacon (just the neighborhood).I hope that I am not disqualified for answering more than just the question. I really love bacon, so I got a little overly excited!

I baked the Christmas turkey with bacon on top, replace bacon 1/2 way through. Turkey was good, bacon was better.

Hickory smoked pliant

I like it "Southern" Pre-cook it first (bake it in the oven to keep it flat). Then apply natural maple syrup and chopped pecans. Place under the broiler until crispy. You have NEVER had bacon until you try it this way. Yum!!
