I enjoyed it until the Zombies ... now if he punched the Zombies before they enjoyed some tasty brains, then I think I'd have been satisfied.

I enjoyed it until the zombies, too, was momentarily let down by the non sequitur nonsense but then loved it even more for the Zombie Dance and the "Live Your Dream" title at the end. I rarely like Samberg's stuff, but this one was pretty decent.

the zombies was weird, but you didn't like the one he won the emmy for? the box?
foodinmouth at 3:36PM on 10/15/07
Oh. I liked "'Blank' in a Box." That was great! I think that was his best. I just never thought that first one —"Lazy Sunday" — was all that, and with the exception of Box and this, I've not been that into the Digital Shorts.

Oh, man. That was great.
You're all right though; Great up until the Zombies, didn't need 'em. Could have had more punching.

Not wanting to be be an Internet nerd, but isn't it a take off on Kicked in the Nuts?

Yeah. It is. It also, conceptually, has already been explored repeatedly (people getting punched, etc...) on Robot Chicken. Including the zombies.

Interesting link.
I wanted to look at it yesterday but the title sort of freaked me out. This morning I watched it and though I'm trying to connect to either the conceptual humor (which I can't exactly define what it would be but which I'm sure is there somehow) or the cartoon-sort of knocking-people-over-head "goofy" (?) humor, I just can't.
Seeing someone being arbitrarily punched into having a black eye by a curly-haired guy in a blue suit just doesn't make me laugh, at all.
I hope I can blame this lack of humor in this situation on a gene but it might be a style thing.

Yet another reason I don't watch SNL.

That's the funniest thing I've seen in a long while...guess I don't get out much

YES!
Haha, I'm so glad someone put this up - I saw it on Saturday and wanted to share it, but couldn't figure out who would appreciate it. Andy Samberg is too, too funny. Granted, the zombies are a bit much, but I still liked it. =)

I hate Samberg but thought this video was pretty darn funny.
