Paula Deen Is Trying to Kill Us 2: Bacon-Wrapped Fried Mac

Paula Deen Is Trying to Kill Us 2: Revenge of the CurdsRemember when Paula Deen tried to kill us with deep-fried butter?

She's back, this time with a recipe for fried mac and cheese. And not just any garden variety mac-and-cheese recipe. Nope. This one calls for a pound of bacon and five eggs total.

Wait—only 4 tablespoons butter? Is that a typo?

Just reading this is bad for my complexion.

OMG! Just reading this receipes makes my arteries constrict!

Why hasn't this woman had a heart attack? Does she have arteries coated with Teflon? Does she avoid her own cooking?

"Paula Deen Is Trying to Kill Us"

This from a guy who ate a doormat size woven tapestry made of bacon...

Seyo: *I* didn't eat the bacon mat. I merely blogged about it.

Dear LORD. It doesn't even look TASTY.

Oops, my bad. Not that there's anything wrong with eating a bacon tapestry.

Heh. I didn't think you meant anything by it, Seyo. I felt I needed to clear my (somewhat) good name. Didn't need the girlfriend reading these comments and getting the idea I had consumed a bacon mat on the sly. ;)

I'm glad that someone else caught this. It was a frightening sight to wake up on saturday morning to a woman wrapping macaroni and cheese in baking and deep frying it. I think that it literally made my heart hurt without eating it. Although, the fan of fried foods in me wanted to at least try it.

wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more!

yall people need to shut up about paula shes not trying to kill us shes just giving us great and wonderful recipes you idiots!!!!!!!!!and for yalls info yall dont have to use those recipes so yall all need to shut up and be quiet!!!!!!!!!if u dont like the way she cooks for one dont watch her shows and dont comment people have feelings yall skinny idiots who are to self absobed to try something new and freeing!!!!!!!!!!so ive said what ive had to say oh one more thing what would yall say about me if i wanted to grow up and cook and be just like her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to confess...that actually sounds really good to me. But is it ethical to show the public how to make this? It's like going on tv and demonstrating how to make meth or something. And karis121491, just so you know, there are other forms of punctuation besides the exclamation point. Might want to use the occasional comma or period. You know, just for variety's sake.

It's people like Paula Deen who give Southerners a bad name (not to mention karis121491).
I grew up in the south, Alabama, thank you, and yes, we ate fried chicken and grits, but I've never in my life known anyone who cooks like this.
Some of these recipes are simply disgusting, and this is neither traditional nor typical Southern cooking! This cooking show should have a "do not try this at home" disclaimer. Come on people, fried butter?!
Be afraid, be very afraid.
