Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine

20070426snocone.jpg

It's finally warm enough for me to reacquaint myself with the ice cream truck guy, but hey, he's kind of creepy, so maybe I'll just save my pennies and invest them in this Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine. Awfully cute, guaranteed to help me not pass out from the coming summer heat, and only $20 from Fred Flare.

oh my gosh! I had one of these ten or fifteen years ago! it was fabulous (but kind of difficult to use)

Whoa! (Arctic) blast from the past. My cousins had one. I don't know if we ever used it, but I remember seeing it at their house.

Aww...seing that makes me want to cry! I had one of those soooo long ago!

Oh man. The last time I saw one of those had to be at least twenty years ago. Freaky little Dixie-cup snow cones with hastily improv'd flavoring - generally whatever kind of Kool-Aid we had hanging around, made jet-fuel style with about 1/3 the required water. I can feel the sugar buzz like it was yesterday...

i HAD to have one, and it never worked right. I always pretended it did as to not let my parents know i was so disappointed in my new treasure (i thought they'd never buy me anything else again if they knew). If you need shaved ice/snowcones, get yourself one of those ice block shavers at the asian grocery store for 10 bucks instead - they work amazingly!

I loved my Snoopy Sno-Cone machine. This brings back so many memories from so long ago.

You just brought back such a wonderful memory for me! The Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine was in a small store (I think call Alco) in Andrews, Texas. I just had to have it. My mom's motto was that we worked for any money she gave us and she let me put the thing on LAYAWAY! It took me a month to pay it off but I was so proud of it!

I still have mine -- I haven't used it in years though...so fun

loved, loved, loved my snoopy snow cone machine! *sigh*
...betcha it sells out at fred flare.
