Black Cod With Miso

misoblackcod.jpg

One of my favorite fish dishes is black cod marinated in miso, as made famous by Nobu's Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, and Rasa Malaysia's just posted a recipe for it, inspired by the Nobu Cookbook. I hadn't realized it was so simple to make—the marinade is just four ingredients, and the most complicated step is leaving the fish in it overnight—but now that I know, I'm going to be giving it a try for dinner this week. You should too!

I'd love to see the recipe, but your "a recipe for it" link is to your own site.

Whoops, fixed now. The photo's also a link to the recipe!

I love the drops of marinade that garnish the plate - but please note that this should not be done with the same marinade that marinated the fish. Some should be set aside and refrigerated for the garnish. Bet y'all know why, too, right?

My husband makes this occasionally. It is simple to make and so delicious. But, black cod is an expensive fish but I assume the marinade can be used on other fish. Is there any other items this marinade will be great with?
