The Pinkest Gin

Here, a simple riff on a gimlet is enhanced with quince syrup and a couple dashes of Peychaud's bitters for a bright, fruity, complex pink drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice, from 1 grapefruit
  • 1/4 ounce lemon juice, from 1 lemon
  • 1 ounce homemade quince syrup
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, quince syrup, and bitters. Shake until well chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass.
