Cider is a fall staple, and in this recipe from Gramercy Tavern it appears in the form of a Lillet-like apéritif from Vermont-based Eden Ice Cider.

cocktail shaker and strainer

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Eden "Orleans" apéritif cider
  • 1/2 ounce Laird's bonded apple brandy
  • 1/4 ounce maraschino liqueur
  • 1/4 ounce orange curaçao
  • 2 dashes Fee Bros. whiskey barrel aged bitters

Directions

    Chill an old-fashioned glass. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add aperitif cider, apple brandy, maraschino liqueur, orange curaçao, and bitters. Stir until very cold, about 15 seconds. Strain into the prepared glass.
