This strong and slightly funky sipper takes its name from the Jamaican rum that forms its base and because Library Bar's Matthew Biancaniello offers it as a freebie on the weekends to keep waiting customers happy as he crafts their cocktails.

Ingredients
- 8 lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 ½ cups Smith & Cross rum
- 1 ½ cups Batavia Arrack
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 4 cups blood orange juice (or pomegranate juice)
- Large block of ice
- Sliced star fruit or dehydrated blood orange
- Whole nutmeg for grating
Procedures

Zest 8 lemons and place in punch bowl with sugar. Stir and let stand 1 hour.

Add rum, Batavia Arrack, lemon juice, and blood orange (or pomegranate) juice. Stir.

Add large block of ice, and let sit for 30 minutes to allow flavors to coalesce.

Float slices of star fruit or dehydrated blood orange for garnish.

Grate nutmeg into each glass for serving.
