This bittersweet cocktail from Gramercy Tavern is a variation on a Negroni, with Aperol instead of Campari and a dash of herbal yellow Chartreuse.

- 1 1/2 ounce gin, such as Bombay
- 1 ounce Aperol
- 1/4 ounce Yellow Chartreuse
- 1/2 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- Orange twist
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin, Aperol, Chartreuse, and lime juice. Shake well and strain into ice-filled old-fashioned glass. Garnish with orange twist.
