Honeymoon Cocktail
PDT's Jim Meehan is an avid collector of historical cocktail books, and offers a guide to which books are worth buying on Ebay in the back of The PDT Cocktail Book. This classic drink appeared in Hugo Ensslin's 1916 Recipes for Mixed Drinks, which Meehan calls "one of the last great cocktail books (self) published before Prohibition."
The Honeymoon Cocktail is essentially an apple brandy sour, boozy and sultry but balanced with fresh acidity.
