The Shandy traditionally mixes beer and lemonade or citrusy soda, but I think a spicy, nonalcoholic ginger beer is a wonderful twist. For this variation on the theme, I used semi-dry cider Wandering Aengus Wanderlust (Oregon, 6.9% ABV).
- 8 ounces chilled semi-dry hard cider
- 8 ounces chilled sharp ginger beer
Pour cider and ginger beer into pint or pilsner glass.
