This frozen sangria is tart and refreshing, even if it's masking pretty terrible wine. You could thin it with a little 7-Up, but we prefer it nearly spoonable. Try substituting frozen peaches or mangoes or a mixture of berries to change things up.

This recipe is adapted from Kim Haasarud's 101 Sangrias and Pitcher Drinks.

Ingredients

  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 ounce Cointreau
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • orange slice for garnish

Directions

  1. 1.

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with an orange slice. Serve immediately.
