Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Preheat oven to 350°F and adjust racks to upper and lower middle positions. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flours, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about two minutes. Beat in vanilla and egg.

Beat in flour mixture in two additions, scraping down sides of bowl each time. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and pecans. Drop 1 1/2 inch balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Let dough rest in fridge for 20 minutes.

Bake cookies until golden on the outsides, about 15 minutes.
