Baked for the 2010 Serious Eats Cookie Swap

- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup nuts
Grease 9x13 pan.
Sift flour into mixing bowl. Put egg yolk, vanilla, butter, and brown sugar into another bowl. Blend; add to flour.
Spread thin in pan. Bake at 350°F until light golden brown, about 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with chips.
Return to oven to melt chocolate.
Remove from oven, spread chocolate, sprinkle with nuts.
