Creole Seasoning

Adapted from on Appétit, Y’all by Virginia Willis, use to spice up beans and rice, sprinkle on tomatoes before roasting or season melted butter to dip shellfish, in addition to flavoring your traditional gumbo and jambalaya.

Ingredients

1/3 cup cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1/4 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup freshly ground white pepper
3 tablespoons dried thyme
1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
2 teaspoons dried sage
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Procedure

Add all ingredients to airtight container and shake to combine. Store up to 3 months.
