Cook the Book: Shrimp Cakes with Herb Mayonnaise
Today's Cook the Book recipe for shrimp cakes with herb mayonnaise is a Loaves & Fishes classic that Anna Pump has been serving up to her Hamptons clientele for years. It is also incredibly versatile: lobster, crab, or scallops can easily be substituted for the shrimp. Grill outside if the weather permits, but if the summer storms roll in, these cakes are just as delicious when cooked in a hot, stovetop skillet. Serve with a leafy green salad and a crisp Sauvignon Blanc.
