- 1 red cabbage, heart removed, chopped
- 1/4 onion, minced
- 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
- A few squirts of vinegar
- 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
Combine cabbage, onion, caraway seeds, vinegar and apples in a pot. Add a little bit of water.
Simmer, covered, for an hour and a half. Add more water, as needed, to prevent burning.
