The Holiday Countdown is upon us and with only one weekend of shopping left, no one wants to spend the day battling the hoards of frenzied shoppers over that last Wii to then go home and cook a big dinner. But instead of settling on the same ol' take-out, try the short ribs ragu with pappardelle recipe from The Martha Stewart Living Cookbook: The Original Classics. If you prepare it before you head out, while you’re waiting in those long lines you can think of how tender the ribs are getting with each hour you’re away. By the time you max out your credit card and make your way home, the meat is ready to fall off the bone and into your mouth.
