National Ad Sales Director

We're looking for a national ad sales director and starting the search here in our own backyard. Junior Web Developer

Your blog is your best resume. We're looking for a versatile jack-of-all trades-master-of-one junior web developer who can hand code a site with valid XHTML/CSS and knows some JavaScript. Experience working with Movable Type is a plus. You should be a quick on-the-job learner and problem solver, have an eye for detail, and generally curious and eager to learn and understand new things. Additionally, we're keeping an eye out for exceptional candidates who have experience with dynamic programming languages, e.g. Ruby and mobile platforms, e.g. iOS, Android. This is a contract to full-time salaried position located in New York City with benefits, open immediately.

Required Skills:
- 1+ years experience in web development and be able to hand code in
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building and maintaining websites in a team environment.
- Experience working with content management systems (Movable Type,
WordPress, Drupal)

Desired Skills:
- Create clean maintainable code using primarily HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web standards and browser compatibility and experience
with cross browser markup HTML and CSS.
- Experience in JavaScript and AJAX.
- Experience with a JavaScript framework (Jquery a plus).
- Experience with a version control system (Git,SVN,CVS).
- Strong organizational abilities and excellent written/verbal
communication skills.
