Finding the Hard-to-Find in Chicago

Where to find hard-to-find "forbidden foods" in Chicago including absinthe, foie gras, Iberico bellota ham, raw milk, Szechuan peppercorn, and unpasteurized cheese.

3 Comments:

Why would foie be on the list of "forbidden" foods, given the recent change in legislature?

According to the Tribune, it's because foie still retains its "outlaw allure."

I don't know for sure but you could try Fox & Obel

It would be worth a shot.
