Coffee Shops that Use Clover Coffee Brewers
Did you read the article about high-end coffee brewers in the New York Times today? If so, you're probably wondering where you can find a coffee shop that uses one of the $11,000 Clover brewing machines mentioned.
Easy enough. Just use the Find a Clover map on the company's website. Turns out there are quite a few more than the handful of locations the paper mentions. After the jump, a video of a Clover in action, if you're curious.

I remember having a cup of clover brew at Intelligentsia and liking it quite well. But I'll admit, it's difficult for me to tell a great cup of Intelligentsia coffee from an amazing one. The quality is already so high that improvement can only be incremental. But now I see from this fascinating video that something else might be at work: the clover makes, essentially, the ideal cup of french-pressed coffee. That's our preferred brewing method at home!

The Clover makes incredibly good coffee and was designed for commercial applications and is a high tech machine delivering quality even better than traditional press/vacuum coffee brewing methods.
The most recent Clover was just installed in Alexandria, Virginia at Grape + Bean, a new specialty coffee and wine spot.

The best cup of coffee I ever had was from a clover at stumptown, but that's because stumptown sources (and does a great job roasting) the best single origin coffee available. I don't think starbucks has the chops to make it work.

I had a Clover cup at Ritual in SF, and while it was fun to watch, it wasn't the best cup of coffee- kind of gritty. Maybe she did it wrong? Or maybe my palate is just not nuanced enough to appreciate it. Looking forward to trying the Siphon thing though!

Meh. If a coffee house wants to spend over 10k on a coffee-making machine, it's their margin. I'd be just as happy to find a map that shows coffee houses that use a $20 french press, well-sourced fresh roasted beans and a quality grinder.

I am proud to live in what looks like the only spot in doxie with a clover. I tried seom coffee from the place java joe's that has the clover. It was good, but not life changing. Then again, I am not a coffee snob, generally drinking maxwell house from a mr. coffee, so what do i know?
