Hong Kong Restaurants for Betsy and Barry
My friends Barry and Betsy e-mailed me yesterday looking for one great restaurant in Hong Kong. Food & Wine's website had two really useful pieces on Hong Kong food. Here are three choices from the two stories
Victoria City Seafood Restaurant
Carrianna
Dynasty Restaurant in the Rennaissance Harbour View Hotel
Hope this helps. Any other suggestions from the Serious Eats community?

I still like the American Restaurant with the Mahjong in the backroom and the crispy fried beef in pockets. It's a bit old-school, but I've never left there hungry.

Ed,
Victoria City Seafood Restaurant turned out to be just the ticket. It was a little taste of LA's San Gabriel Valley in Hong Kong--only the food was better! Thanks for the recommendation.
We also ate at a fantastic restaurant called Hutong. It's on the 28th floor of a building in Tsimshatsui, Kowloon. Gorgeous (kind of a witty Beijing-red-lanterns theme) and the food was great.
