Ed Levine, founder of Serious Eats, is a New York–based food writer, cookbook author, and frequent New York Times contributor. His stories on iconic American foods such as hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, and cheesecake have appeared in many U.S. periodicals, including GQ, BusinessWeek, and the New York Times.

Alaina Browne is Serious Eats' general manager and the creator of A Full Belly. Alaina must satisfy her weekly cravings for Indian food, mangoes, and a good bowl of noodles.

Adam Kuban is Serious Eats' managing editor. He is the founder and editor of Slice, "America's Favorite Pizza Weblog," and the burger blog A Hamburger Today, both of which have now become part of Serious Eats.

Erin Zimmer is our Serious Eats: New York editor. After studying at Georgetown, she worked for the Washingtonian Dining section. She is responsible for most of the oatmeal content on the site, and is probably debating the merits of steel-cut vs. rolled right now.

Grace Kang fights the good fight against the mountain of delicious that comes into SE HQ every day and settles in her territory. Studying up in the New Hampshire wilderness of Dartmouth is tough, but she still finds time to bloop it up. She loves ponies, muscles/mussels, and ribs.

A contributor to Serious Eats, Tam Ngo is an attorney who enjoys scotch and a good fog. She has a slow walk, slow talk, and fast metabolism. Exacting in her field studies, her fetishes include hot bread and dry noodles. She is also drawn to most forms of carnage and all forms of strange.

Claire Sellers was born hungry, to say the least. At 18 she packed up her knives (and shoes) and ran off to core out the Big Apple. Claire started Forks. Figs. & Fancy Shoes (A Southern Girls' Guide to Worldly Cooking) and has since dedicated her time to all things food.
