If you use our recipe box feature to save Serious Eats recipes, you may have noticed that the 'save recipe' button has been removed from our recipe pages. Unfortunately, that tool was powered by a third-party company called Ziplist, which just announced that it's shutting down on December 10th. That means after December 9th, your shopping list and recipe box will no longer be available.
But there's still time to save your recipes! Ziplist has published answers to frequently asked questions here. You have the option to export your shopping list(s) and recipes to reference the information in the future; here are the Ziplist instructions for exporting.
Looking for other ways to save recipes? We're big fans of Pinterest and love using it to save collections of quick weeknight dinner recipes as well as inspiration for elaborate holiday feasts. Some people prefer clipping recipes on Evernote or apps like Paprika. Yummly.com is another option for saving recipes and browsing other people's favorites. And when all else fails, browser bookmarks get the job done, too.
