Ed gets pretty serious around pizza.
Figs on pizza = win.
Figs on most things = win.
What do we have here?
Jim and Leang scope out a special delivery...
Holy baked goods.
Some days, breakfast at the office is a handful of cereal and a cup of coffee. Other days, it's an gooey, chewy whiskey-soaked pecan sticky bun from Gramercy Tavern. And that's what we call a good day.
A little caramelized sugar improves productivity, right?
But wait, there's more.
Blueberry coffee cake, amazing with a smear of Gramercy's super-tart lemon curd. We feel loved!
Max spent the week up in Ithaca, NY, where he got plenty of quality of time with a new friend, Grilka (yes, as in House Grilka). Worry is Grilka's default expression.
Deal With It
Except when it's not. On a walk to the neighborhood gorge (yup, those happen here), Grilka picked up some accessories. (Time spent on face: a remarkable 14 minutes.)
Yup, the old saying's true. It's a beautiful city with breathtaking waterfalls and painstakingly maintained old witch houses.
In nearby Interlaken is Lively Run Dairy, a goat farm with some great goat cheesecake and no shortage of these guys. Most of the visit was spent doting on the young lady goat on the right, but Max's favorite was the buck on the left—single hipster-hair curlycue horn included.
Ithaca Farmers Market
The Ithaca Farmers Market is pretty damn incredible. The produce scene includes these sweet Austrian-style conical cabbages. Okay, I'm ready for fall now.
