Yesterday we told you about the best savory bites we had in June: stellar fresh fish and grilled steak, awesome birria and killer barbecue. But what about dessert? This month, our team certainly didn't skip it. For those of us lucky enough to work out of the New York office, Max Falkowitz's frozen treats were the star of the show: raspberry-Campari frozen yogurt, homemade Klondike bars, and the good ol' homemade Magic Shell-drizzled ice cream spoonful kept us cool and happy throughout June.
Other highlights included some incredible chocolate pudding and beautifully crafted canelé, a formerly under-the-radar Bordelaise pastry that's rightfully getting attention for its caramely outer shell and custardlike center. Check out the best desserts we tried this past month in the slideshow »
