With Ramen Week 2013 coming to a close, I've had kimchi on the mind. Why does ramen make me think of kimchi? If you've ever had Shin Ramyun or simply mixed some kimchi into your noodles, you'd know. Ramen and kimchi go hand in hand like burritos and horchata.
Know what else crazy folks like to do with their kimchi noodles? Stir cheese into them. Fact. And it's delicious. Let's do some basic math.
The Transitive Property of Associated Taste Sensation (or T-PATS for those who like to throw down the lingo), states that "if a tastes good with b and b tastes good with c, then a tastes good with c."
Moreover, the corollary to the T-PATS states that "if a tastes good with b and b tastes good with c, then a tastes even better with b+c."
How do we apply this property? Well how about this example: kimchi tastes great with cheese. Cheese tastes great on burgers. Therefore, kimchi must taste great on burgers. Moreover, burgers with cheese and kimchi must therefore taste even better.
