McSpicy Paneer from McDonald's India
McSpicy Paneer from McDonald's India

What's not to love about a deep-fried block of paneer cheese battered with "fiery, crunchy batter," and topped with tandoori mayo? Well...besides the calorie count. This little number clocks in at 702 calories—almost double the damage of a McChicken (360 calories)

Baguette Sandwiches from McDonald's France
Baguette Sandwiches from McDonald's France

Forget the Royale with Cheese. If you think that's as exotic as McDonald's gets in France, you don't know Jacques. These baguette sandwiches are much more intriguing. On the left, we have the Chicken Curry (a small baguette with breaded chicken patties, potato cakes and curry sauce); on the right, the Beef Mustard (two small beef patties topped with potato cakes and mustard sauce).

Shoarma Burger from McDonald's Netherlands
Shoarma Burger from McDonald's Netherlands

It's a simple alteration, but creamy garlic kebab sauce on a McDonald's burger sounds like a big upgrade.

Mediterranean Chicken from McDonald's UK
Mediterranean Chicken from McDonald's UK

This McChicken-esque sandwich features diced red and yellow peppers, Batavia lettuce and sweet, spicy tomato sauce on a focaccia-style bun. If nuggets are more your thing, the sweet curry dip (with apricot puree) sounds like the way to go.

Bulgogi Burger from McDonald's South Korea
Bulgogi Burger from McDonald's South Korea

As far as beef-based burgers go, the Bulgogi Burger looks pretty tasty, though it's hard to tell from the photo alone whether or not the bulgogi sauce would really deliver on flavor. Still, we'd definitely order this...at least once.

Rye Feast from McDonald's Finland
Rye Feast from McDonald's Finland

Regular cheeseburger buns get swapped out for a crusty rye bun on this special offering at McDonald's restaurants in Finland. Toppings are pretty standard, except for the mayo-based "McFeast" sauce. Along with the burger, we'd get an order of fries and a packet of "El Maco" spice mixture to spice 'em up.

Cheese Empanadas from McDonald's Chile
Cheese Empanadas from McDonald's Chile

It's hard to tell from the promo shot, but these empanadas available at McDonald's in Chile look pretty tasty. Judging by the darker splotches, they look like they're fried, and fried cheese and dough is almost always great.

Chicken Nugget Sauces from McDonald's Hong Kong
Chicken Nugget Sauces from McDonald's Hong Kong

It's not so much the nuggets themselves, but the sauces that are available at McDonald's in Hong Kong that get us going...like Singapore Curry, Korean Chili, and Sesame Miso. Other summer promotions we want to try: Mango Sundae, Kumquat Green Tea Punch, and a Black and White Coffee McFloat.

Emmentaler Sticks from McDonald's Austria
Emmentaler Sticks from McDonald's Austria

At McDonald's Austria, you can get the standard chicken McNuggets, but these breaded Emmentaler sticks with Lingonberry jam look pretty tasty, too.

Mac Floats from McDonald's Japan

Soda water, fruit juice, and soft serve? Why not? These Mac Floats (available in mango, blueberry, and melon) sound fun and refreshing. Fruit flavors too weird for you? There's always the Coke or coffee float.

Oreo Affogato from McDonald's South Korea

Hiding among the usual desserts (sundaes, cones, and McFlurrys) is this unusual treat: crushed Oreos topped with soft-serve ice cream, espresso, and whipped cream. Yum!

Vanilla Chai Tea Iced Frappé from McDonald's Canada
Vanilla Chai Tea Iced Frappé from McDonald's Canada

This mildly spiced vanilla chai tea iced frappé looks downright refreshing. In all likelihood, it tastes like a tea-tinged vanilla milkshake...not like there's anything wrong with that.

Flavor Twist Cones from McDonald's Malaysia
Flavor Twist Cones from McDonald's Malaysia

There's nothing wrong with keeping it simple with a vanilla cone, but when you can add a flavor swirl (mocha, green apple, chocolate, strawberry), you might as well go for it. At McDonald's locations in Malaysia, you can do just that.

Ice Cream Desserts from McDonald's Philippines
Ice Cream Desserts from McDonald's Philippines

The ice cream category is pretty exciting at McDonald's locations in the Philippines. Not only can you get a sundae with both hot caramel and hot chocolate, there's also ube, strawberry, and chocolate dipped cones (with or without crisp rice cereal).

Toblerone McFlurry from McDonald's Turkey

Little bits of Toblerone churned up with vanilla soft serve? Say no more: we want one.

Dream Apple Pie from McDonald's Bosnia & Herzegovina
Dream Apple Pie from McDonald's Bosnia & Herzegovina

Ok, so it's just an apple pie or cherry served with ice cream and strawberry sauce (which you could hack yourself at any McD's), but it's so much easier when you can order it readily assembled.

Muffins from McDonald's France

This sponge cake with chocolate chips and a creamy hazelnut filling looks like a good companion to a cup of coffee.

Want to really feel jealous? Check out the pastries at McCafé France. These special locations, which focus on coffee and sweets, have everything from apple, lemon, and milk chocolate hazelnut tarts, to croissants, cheesecake, tiramisu, and canelés...not to mention six different flavors of macarons.
