Slideshow SLIDESHOW: Where to Eat Near San Diego Comic-Con

If you're headed to San Diego Comic-Con (July 18-21), chances are you'll be looking to eat absolutely anywhere but the Convention Center itself. And while the Gaslamp Quarter (adjacent to the 'Con) is pretty much wall-to-wall restaurants, sussing out which spots are worthwhile usually takes some trial and error. Generally speaking, it's a good idea to head a smidge off the well-worn tourist trail to places like the East Village, where several bars and restaurants are offering discounts when you flash your badge.

If a burger is what you're after, check out the updated list of recommended options on AHT. Beyond burgers, we've got you covered with 13 worthy spots to eat, all walking distance from the Convention Center. Take a look at the slideshow for our top picks for San Diego Comic-Con eats »
