A few weeks back, our friends over at Consumer Reports asked me if I was willing to take their knife recommendations into the kitchen and run them through their paces. I agreed, so they shipped over a the Zwilling Henckels Four Star 9-Piece Knife Set—their winning brand at around $300—as well as the Ginsu Chikara 8 Piece Set—their best buy at around $75.
I spent the week doing what I normally do: breaking down chickens, slicing onions, chopping herbs, trimming meat, slicing bread, etc. So how did the knives stack up in the end? Check out the video to find out, and head over to Consumer Reports to see more!
