Our major activity of the week: going to one of our favorite doughnut shops, Peter Pan Bakery, and attempted to try every doughnut they make. We lugged our boxes of doughnuts (33 doughnuts in all) to nearby McCarren Park for a tasting.

Editor Niki and interns Meena and Amalia look like they're still enjoying those doughnuts, but that feeling probably didn't last for long. "Let's eat all the doughnuts at Peter Pan!" is one of those things that sounds fun until you actually do it. Granted, a hot, sticky, humid day isn't the best setting for eating doughnuts.
