This delightful cereal buffet is in fact here all the time! Sigh. It’s like a much cooler college cafeteria.
Taking a tip from our friends at Gramercy Terrace, the General Mills folks stirred up some delicious flavored milks, including peanut butter!
To really take things over the top, a coffee bar was set up complete with crushed cereals for the rim of the glass. Cocoa Puffs was my choice.
Sonny the bird was pleased by my choice.
In case I didn’t get enough cereal at breakfast, many elements of our lunch involved cereal as well! Clockwise we have Cheesy Broccoli Bake with Kix, Quinoa with roasted veg along side some Wheaties –crusted chicken fingers, Peanut Butter Toast Crunch s’mores cups and cereal milk panna cotta with Peanut Butter MultiGrain Cheerios. Delicious!
Chex Mix Creation
The Betty Crocker Kitchens are bright and cheerful. All day recipes are developed and tested by the happy staff. I got to mix up a new kind of Chex Mix using New Vanilla Chex.
I forgot that Chex Mix begins with melted butter and sugar. Always a good sign!
Hugs All Around
The Honey Nut Cheerios Bee happened to be hanging around and I scored a hug.
Cereal Happy Hour
Yup – that’s a menu for Cereal Happy Hour looks like. Tons of delicious, inventive cereal treats!
