You may remember our Pepperidge Farm Halloween Baking Contest back in October. Say hello to our winner, Renu Devi of Seattle, who was flown out to New York to visit SEHQ and show us how she makes her prize-winning puff pastry entry. Here she is sautéeing some onions for the filling.
Each puff pastry square gets a spoonful of the onion and potato filling (she adapted her recipe slightly from the original one in last fall).
So golden-brown and deliciously flaky, we gobbled up the whole sheet of puffs. Thanks Renu!
Renu's husband and her daughter visited SEHQ too. They sure are one lucky family with Renu at the helm of the kitchen.
