Who's going to the Sweetlife Festival on Saturday, May 11, with us? D.C. area pals, you should be there! Here's a preview of the food you can look forward to munching on while jamming to Phoenix, Passion Pit, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Solange, and other live music at Merriweather Post Pavilion all day.
First things first: the Serious Eats crew will be there, including Kenji on sliders duty. If you've ever wanted Kenji to make you sliders before, here's your big chance. And these are the ultimate sliders.
But now it's time to shine the spotlight on the other vendors who will be feeding us at Sweetlife. For the first time, our friends at sweetgreen will have a pop-up restaurant with various grab-and-go stands offering salads, wraps, grain bowls, yogurt and house-made lemonade to festivalgoers.
Some of our favorite D.C. restaurants will also be there, serving everything from ramen to sausage:

Over in the "The Wharf" arena of the food fest, you'll find all the sea creatures you could possibly want to eat. Oysters, lobster rolls, and more from:
Some awesome trucks will also be parked, making everything from tacos to grilled cheese:
And more: 'wichcraft sandwiches and sweets, Gordy's pickles, Sir Kensington ketchup, vegan baked goods from Sticky Fingers bakery, bread from Bakery de France, the brilliant gelato from Dolcezza, caffeine fixes from Vigilante Coffee, refreshing drinks from Honest Tea, and snacks from KIND bars.
And in case you're missing your regular farmers' market that Saturday, fear not: Fresh Farm Markets will be there with a produce stand along with the Keany Lemonade Stand.
