"When going out, cider is your friend. Most places have one either bottled or on tap now, which is great. Some of my favorites are Crispins and Angry Orchard is pretty commonly available. I too prefer hoppier beers, and have been really please with Widmer's Omission, if you can find it. Lastly, check your local food co-op, they sometimes cater to more dietary needs and might have a section that you can peruse. Good luck!"jujyfruit

"You guys don't get it. He's viewing cooking as an art that needs to be in the right environment to be properly and fully enjoyed. Cooking in a dark kitchen on an electric stove, cutting with a dull knife, and then eating at the counter or over the kitchen sink... you can't argue that it's not cooking, and is in fact what a lot of people do every day, but to truly enjoy the process and the product, you'll need AB's essentials. What do you eat when you're sick?

"Pho! Nothing clears the throat and nose like scorching hot broth with lots of fresh herbs and sriracha. Any hot, flavourful, noodley soup is what I crave when I'm sick. Japanese Ramen, Udon noodle soup, Pho, etc."ag3208

Making good turkey burgers?

"I would add some basil pesto to ground turkey meat and shape into patties to grill. Ground turkey has very little flavor and without the fat, it will be dry, so the pesto provides flavor and moisture. I do this for my turkey meatballs."AnnieNT
