Intern Dana brought in so many delicious things for us this morning: olives, labneh, pita, za'atar, and big juicy grapes. "I love shopping at Sahadi's." (We do too.) Then on the right, you'll see us trying a variety of bagels that intern Rebecca brought in from The Bagel Store in Williamsburg. And this was before a huge Turkish feast for lunch..
When's the last time you had a Twinkies-flavored bagel?! We tried a variety of bagel flavors we didn't even know were bagel flavors thanks to Rebecca. Clockwise from left: Salt & Vinegar, Twinkies, Jalapeno-Cheddar, Bacon Egg & Cheese, Sweet Potato, and French Toast.
Lunch at Sip Sak
"Eat that one."
The Outdoor Photo Studio
The scene outside our windows mostly consists of air vents (yup, great view), but sometimes you might also see our intern Paul taking photos. (We barely get any natural light inside the office.)
It's Boozin' Time
Senior managing editor Carey testing out punch recipes for the Cookie Swap party we're having next week. (And, okay, kicking off an unofficial SE Happy Hour.)
Peter Pan Bakery Run
Kenji took Hambone to the dog run last weekend where he met...mini Hambone. Mini Hambone thinking: "It's like me...from the future!"
Hambone and Mini Hambone
"Who is this little punk, and why is he stealing my show?" he seems to ask.
Going in for the Lick
"I wonder if future me's nose tastes like current me's nose."
We like to reward Hambone, particularly for doing things that are completely out of his control, like running into miniature versions of himself. Have a Poochini, Jamón!
'Tis the Season For Putting Clothes on Dogs
Hambone, so stylish.
